Aishwarya Rai, who is a super-craze in the South (almost every second film mentions her in some dialogue or song), should be flattered.

Tamil superstar Vikram has paid a tribute to her in his latest film Kanthaswamy by cross-dressing as Ash and performing to her numbers from Taal and Devdas.

One hears the audience in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh is so tickled by this particular sequence that there are seetis and claps galore.

Incidentally, Vikram is also acting with Aishwarya in the Tamil version of Mani Ratnam’s Raavan. And it is said that Southern superstar is a huge fan of Ms Rai’s. But then who isn’t?

The NY Times, in a–I must say–complicated online piece (took me about three minutes to figure out how to read it and then there are all those ads sliding in at you) interviews the young and talented Mulligan. They had the brilliant idea of pairing up Mulligan with different designers. They work, for the most part, only one makes her look a little like Kelly Osborne.

Mulligan says that the Pride and Prejudice shoot “was a mad hippie summer — a party every weekend, lots of jumping naked into the lake. And I ate everything; my face ballooned. Katrina Kaif Personally Goes To Shahrukh Khan

Bollywood is buzzed with Katrina Kaif’s close encounter with Salman Khan’s rival Shahrukh Khan. Shahrukh Khan and Katrina Kaif flew all the way from London to Mumbai together with Shahrukh sharing his story of ugly detention in the US airport to Katrina.

Katrina Kaif happened to travel with Shahrukh Khan in the same flight. Their seat was at a distance but Kat on looking Shahrukh went to him and King Khan like a gentleman offered his seat to her. Then what both chatted throughout and Shahrukh shared his bitter experience at the US airport.

Both were engrossed into various discussions, chatted throughout. Kat came to her seat only when the flight was about to land.

Ever since Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan got into brawl at Katrina’s birthday last year, they hardly chatted so comfortably.

The stories doing the rounds of the closeness growing steadily between the sexy Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor, the new cool dude in Bollywood, But not so true that Salman Khan need get hot under the collar and Deepika Padukone bothered — these two being the other halves of Katz and Ranbir respectively.
Sources on the sets of Ramesh Taurani’s Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani say the two stars bonded because they are the same age. Katz has worked predominantly with all of Bollywood’s leading men who are in their mid-40s, and the 27-year-old Ranbir came as, well, a bundle of fun.

Katz, of course, is Ranbir’s senior in the industry (she’s a dozen films old, he’s got just two releases) and she rags him on the sets by showing him five fingers. No, it’s not what you think! The irrepressible Katz just rubs it into Ranbir that she’s had five hits in a row… while he’s had none. “With Ranbir, I can be myself. I guess it’s the age and the film’s a comedy, so the atmosphere on the sets is like that,” revealed Katz.

Poor Ranbir, he tells director Rajkumar Santoshi that they should take all decisions (even what to eat for lunch!) only after consulting Katz, as she’s the reigning box office queen! “She’s a treat,” admitted Ranbir. Meanwhile, news is that Sallu bhai is also a part of this ghajab kahani. He’s doing a cameo in the film!

The most paid bollywood’s sizzling actress Katrina Kaif has finally applied brakes to the rumors that she and her man Salman Khan had broken-up. Katrina Kaif also admitted that she’s been dating with Salman for years.

In an interview Katrina said, “I and Salman are together for the past 6 years, and we don’t have problems on the subject of our relationship.”

Katrina Kaif also told that she wanted this to be a low key affair as both of them did not want to disclose their private life for any one. This is the first time Katrina has spoken frankly about her affair with Salman Khan.

After doing New York the actress will be seen in Blue which is all set for release on October 10, 2009. Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani will be releasing on November 06, 2009, another flick of the actress De Dana Dan will be releasing on November 27, 2009. The actress is currently shooting for two more film for the year 2010 Rajneeti and Padosan Remake.

The pretty lady basking in the success of her latest release New York is very much in demand in entertainment arena. Yes, we are talking of Bollywood siren, Katrina Kaif. The Yashraj Films, the plan for a big- budget Shah Rukh-Katrina starrer movie is not a new one, in fact, it has been there for a long time. Aditya Chopra wanted to work on this project in the preceding year but things had gotten worst at that time due to Salman-Shahrukh Khan’s conflict at Katrina’s Birthday celebrations.

The cold war between Kareena Kapoor and Katrina Kaif has finally come to an end. They patched up during Amrita’s wedding and had a blast during her bash. Both were seen so much engrossed in talking that onlookers starred at them surprisingly with a feeling how come the two contrasting actress patched up.

According to a source, "The cold war between Kareena and Katrina is a thing of the past. The two bonded at Amrita Ladhak's wedding brunch on Wednesday, chatting about everything from their films to designer outfits and how to maintain a fit and fab body without dieting. In fact, they were so engrossed in catching up that they even made their beaus, Saif and Sallu jealous. Bebo and Kat do different films, which is perfect for them as there's no competition."

The whole illness left me feeling tired and drained.

I was also having over 1500 mg worth of antibiotics so I could recover faster. When I went home to London for Christmas, I was listless and lethargic and could hardly move around."

Katrina Will not act with Salman Khan

Katrina Kaif will leave the opportunity to act with Salman Khan. The film in question is Ajay Devgan next home production to be directed by Rohit Shetty, the man behind the comedies Golmaal, Sunday and Golmaal Returns. Katrina has cited dates problem for not accepting the offer. If Kat accepts the offer then she will get to act alongside beau Salman. But after the fallout of Yuvraaj and most importantly due to dates problem, she is bound to say no.

Her spokesperson clarifies, "it is unfortunate but Katrina will not be able to do the project, she's tied up with her other commitments and dates were a big hassle. Hence she will not be doing Rohit Shetty's film". Ajay will also share screen space with Salman in his untitled film. It is known that both developed a good relationship on the set of London Dreams and it was during this time that Ajay Devgan had expressed his wish to Salman Khan to cast Katrina in his next home production.

Salman and Ajay were last seen together in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. In that flick, they did not get much scope to share the same screen but came to know each other better and developed a good rapport during London Dreams.

Katrina will not marry Salman!

“On the personal front, Katrina will not marry Salman and if she does, then it will not last long. They both are completely different people. Salman is a Number 9 (27th Dec.1965) ruled by Mars (No.9), No.8 (Saturn – Capricorn) and No.6 (Venus). They share Number 9 in common but nothing else. Nos.7 and 9 do not gel well with difference of opinion being the main negative aspect. They both are different people with no similar ideologies but can be friends for sure. In Priyadarshan’s De Dana Dan where she is paired opposite Akshay Kumar , she may not have much to do and this film may not do any good to her but will not do any harm as well. Towards 2010 in ‘Rajniti’ where is rumored to have played the role of Sonia Gandhi, she will be getting mixed reviews for her performance but the film shall do well at the ticket window” adds Bhavikk.

Whatever Mughda is happy to be part of Shetty’s hardcore entertainment. She has also signed Madhur Bhandarkar's Jail opposite Neil Nitin Mukhesh.

Speaking about Ajay Devgan’s home production, the lady quips, "I love singing and dancing around trees and have no contempt for hardcore commercial Hindi films. I'm happy to be playing one of the female leads in the film. Moreover, my part requires me to look glamorous as well as add to the plot”.

Mugdha remarked on replacing Katrina, "I have heard about this, but frankly I don't worry about such things. Clichéd as it may sound, replacements do happen in the industry. I don't know whether I'm replacing anybody or not but I'm glad about playing an interesting character."

On Saturday Afternoon While Katrina Kaif was interacting with Indians at the Independence Day parade in Houston ,she was confronted by a little more fan attention than she bargained for,when a young man knocked her down in trying to reach out to her.

Says Katrina, “Yes I was knocked off my feet. And I did fall .And considering it was a 12-year old boy half my size, it did kinda take me my surprise. But I didn’t mind at all. I guess it showed the force of his love for me.”
